The offensive line created massive running lanes, allowing Denver to control time of possession and keep Cincinnati’s struggling offense on the sideline. By the fourth quarter, the Broncos had run nearly twice as many offensive plays as the Cincinnati Bengals and added a late touchdown pass to RJ Harvey to put the finishing touches on the rout.

Cincinnati, meanwhile, looked lost without Joe Burrow at the helm. Backup quarterback Jake Browning could not find a rhythm, throwing for only 125 yards on 14 completions, and the offense never reached the red zone after its opening drive. Penalties crushed any chance at momentum — 11 flags for 65 yards, including one that erased a 37-yard gain by Tee Higgins. The Bengals finished with just 159 total yards and converted only three third downs all night, punting on six of their eight possessions.

Defensively, Denver’s front seven feasted, holding Cincinnati’s rushing attack to just 34 yards and generating pressure that kept Browning under duress. The Broncos’ secondary locked down Ja’Marr Chase and Higgins, preventing any explosive plays and forcing Cincinnati into short, ineffective drives. When the final whistle blew, Denver had outgained Cincinnati 512-159 and notched 29 first downs to the Bengals’ nine, moving to 2-2 on the season and looking like a team finding its rhythm. The Bengals, now 2-2 after back-to-back blowout losses, will have to regroup quickly with Burrow’s health still in question.
